Peer Review

At FGE, peer reviews are commonly conducted by a team of engineers and/or geologists which are then finally reviewed, approved and opined upon by a Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist or both.

The purpose of the peer review is to assess other experts’ opinions and to review their approach to the collection of data (versus industry accepted standard practices), compliance of recommendations with minimum codeMature businessman working at the office. standards, completeness of assessment, consistency of data with conclusions, and standards of practice, as well as to identify areas where proposed designs may lead to future significant problems. The reviewer is a licensed professional geotechnical or structural engineer, and/or geologist, with considerable experience practicing in the discipline that he or she is reviewing.
